TRUMP'S ICE RAIDS RESTRICTED
LATE NIGHT FEDERAL COURT RULING
I know it’s late, but a federal judge in the Central District of California just issued TWO restraining orders against the Trump administration’s Department of Homeland Security. In her ruling the judge said the way ICE is conducting their sometimes aggressive raids, stops and detentions likely violate the 4th and 5th Amendments of the United States Constitution.
The ACLU filed a lawsuit on behalf of several people who have been detained by ICE. After a hearing this week the judge determined late tonight that there was a “mountain of evidence” to prove that the Trump administration’s ICE agents and federal officers were likely profiling people based on unconstitutional grounds. The restraining order prohibits ICE or any federal officer from stopping a person based on four specific qualifications. The video outlines those qualifications.
